Thanksgiving Turkey Maths

Included in this resource pack you will find the following:

  • 10 Little Turkeys PowerPoint Slideshow (.pps file)

This introduces/revises simple subtraction using rhyme.

  • A song sheet (colored and grayscale)

This can be used for the teacher or sent home for the child to share with grown-ups.

  • Turkey Counting Cards 1 to 10 (colored and grayscale)

These can be used with Pre-Kinders to have them do simple subtraction and number ordering. Older learners can use them as large counters. I also thought they would be good for having children hold as props when reciting the song!

  • Kindergarten Maths Subtraction and Addition Sheets (grayscale only)

These sheets meet the Common Core standards and focus on subtracting and adding within 5.

  • First Grade Maths Subtraction and Addition Sheets (grayscale only)

These sheets meet the Common Core standards and focus on subtracting and adding within 10.

I also recommend these turkey inspired resources that can be used alongside the pack.
