Alison Garza

Alison Garza is an autism specialist teacher, Additional Learning Needs Lead and founder of Elevating Neurodiversity. She has worked in education since 2001 and has extensive experience supporting autistic and neurodiverse learners across mainstream and specialist settings, with continuous experience in specialist provision since 2012.

Alison holds a Master's degree in SEN Autism (Children) and is passionate about helping educators translate evidence-informed practice into meaningful classroom strategies. Her work focuses on communication, language development, early literacy and creating inclusive learning environments that reduce cognitive load while celebrating neurodiversity.

Through Elevating Neurodiversity, Alison shares practical teaching guides, downloadable classroom resources and professional learning designed to help teachers, speech and language therapists and other professionals support autistic and neurodiverse learners with confidence.
